GLOWCON 2016 - STUTTGART | MEET & GREET WITH SAMI SLIMANI & STEFANIE GIESINGER

Bekannte Youtuber und Blogger, unzählige Gewinnspiele, Stände der bekanntesten Beauty-Marken, unterhaltsames Programm auf der Stage und einen unvergesslichen Tag verspricht die GLOWcon oder auch Beauty Convention und das zurecht! Nach dem Auftakt in Bochum fand sie dieses Mal am 14. Mai in Stuttgart statt und gemeinsam mit essence haben Laudi und ich die GLOW erkundet.

Famous youtuber and blogger, many lotteries, your favorite beauty brands, entertaining program on stage and also an unforgettable day is what is expected from the GLOWcon and I can assure you that thats absolutely correct. After the first convention in Bochum, GLOW now came down to Stuttgart on Mai 14th and together with essence, Laudi and I took part of this experience and discovered the convention for the first time.

GLOWCON 2016 - WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN

GLOWcon sagt vielleicht nicht jedem etwas. Convention vielleicht eher, und gemeinsam mit GLOW kann man eventuell darauf kommen dass es sich um eine Beauty-Convention handelt! Da ich selber noch nie auf einer war, und dieses Jahr das erste Mal ist werde ich euch vorab ein paar Infos geben was das denn überhaupt genau ist!

Frühling in #kölnbloggt – MY NEW FAVORITE SPRING PIECE: CULOTTE PANTS

Der Frühling ist nun auch endlich in Köln eingetroffen und man sieht immer mehr hochgekrempelte Hosen auf den Straßen. Doch ich habe mich bereits im Herbst in den  etwas anderen Schnitt verliebt: Culotte. Und endlich ist es warm genug diese Hosen auch präsentieren zu können.

Spring has officially arrived in Cologne and you can see more people wearing their pants rolled up. Though, I prefer a different style which i fell in love with in fall last year: the Culotte. And ist finally warm enough to wear them!

SS 2016 INSPIRATIONS | CHEAP VS. HIGH CLASS

Der Frühling steht vor der Tür und die ersten Shorts, Röcke und dünnen Jacken liegen bei mir im Schrank schon weit vorne. Doch ein bisschen Platz ist noch frei und die ersten Frühlingseinkäufe sind schon in Planung. Bevor die warmen Sonnenstrahlen allerdings rauskommen suche ich mir gerne immer ein bisschen Inspiration für die perfekten Frühlings-Outfits! Und genau zwei Outfit-Collagen habe ich heute für euch fertiggestellt. Eine etwas günstigere Variante und eine etwas teurere, die meiner Meinung nach beide einen individuellen Look haben.

But there is still a little room for new clothes and the first spring-shopping trip is already planned. But before the warm sun rays are starting to come out, i always look for new inspiration first. And today I'm showing you two different outfits, one quite cheap and the other a bit more expensive, but both with an absolute individual look!

MONTHLY TO DO LIST: APRIL

Die Zeit geht viel zu schnell vorbei und die Monate fliegen mehr oder weniger an einem vorbei. Deswegen nehme ich mir jetzt jeden Monat 5 Dinge vor, die ich unbedingt schaffen möchte. Ob ein bestimmtes Gericht kochen bzw. essen, einen Film im Kino zu schauen, oder aber meiner Oma regelmäßiger schreiben. (Ja, sie hat whatsapp & auch facebook auf ihrem Ipad! :D)

Time is running way too fast, and the months are literally flying by. Thats why I have decided to start making a list of 5 thing each month, I want to have accomplished by the end. For example cooking or eating a certain dish, watching a specific movie at the theatre or even texting my granny more often. (Yes, she has whatsapp & also facebook on her ipad! :D)

VAGABOND MEETS GRAZIA | VAGABOND STYLE COCKTAIL EVENT

Am Mittwoch den 17, März stand ein neues Event im Kalender. Dieses mal war die Location sehr erfreulich: Der Vagabond Store in Köln. Ab 19 Uhr luden Grazia und Vagabond zu einem gemeinsamen Abend bei Finger-Food und Getränken & Schuhen und einer Styleberatung ein. Wie vorher geplant, mit leeren Händen heimzugehen konnte ich dann doch nicht!

On wednesday, march 17th, I had a new event in my calender. This time, at a really lovely location: The vagabond store in cologne. At 7 pm, Grazia and Vagabond invited to celebrate with a few drinks, fingerfood tons of new shoes and a personal style consultant. Not as planned, I ended up buying a pair of shoes I have been craving for a long time now!

ind) darf aber das klassische Off-Shoulder nicht fehlen! Am liebsten locker & blusen-artig und bei diesem Baby-Blau sage ich nicht nein! :)

Spring is just around the corner! Not only bomber jackets or patches, but also my all time favorite off shoulder blouse is a must this spring! Preferable a little lose, and this baby blue color definitely caught my attention ( & money :D) right away.

Für Ostern dieses Jahr habe ich mir vorgenommen ein bisschen zu basteln! Und Pinterest bietet da wohl die besten Inspirationen! Die klassischen Ostereier dürfen nicht fehlen, ein paar Filztulpen (da meine echten immer zu schnell verwelken) und zwei zuckersüße Osterhasen-Bilderrahmen!

 Jamie Oliver macht ja wohl die besten Rezepte auf dieser Welt! Doch leider sind nicht alle so gesund wie man es sich manchmal wünscht, so auch diese Brownies. Trotzdem habe ich sie gebacken aber eine Kleinigkeit anders gemacht, wodurch sie gleich viel gesünder sind!

Jamie Olivers recipes are probably the best recipes in the world. But also not quite the healthiest really.. Thats why I tried to make his brownies, but with a little twist to make them a lot healthier!

STATIONARY HAUL - TKMAXX & idee.

Mein Herz schlägt wie bei vielen weiteren auch hin und wieder für Schreibwaren! Und so musste mein Durst gestillt werden. Neue Hefte, eine neue Tasche, Büroklammern in Herzform, Sticker und ein Klemmbrett für alle ToDo-Listen sind seit kurzem bei mir zu Hause.

My heart was beating for stationary a lot lately, which is why some things have to come home with me some times. Just like these, new notebooks, heart shaped paper clips, pineapple stickers and a clipboard for all my future todo-lists.

A LITTLE WELLNESS AT HOME

Es ist so weit, der Winter ist fast geschafft und die Haut ist strapaziert wie nie sonst. Vor allem ist meine immer sehr trocken und braucht viel Feuchtigkeit. Ich habe in den letzten Wochen für euch ein Scrub getestet und werde heute davon berichten. Cowshed: Zitronengrass, Rosmarin, Ingwer und Aprikosenkern. Klingt vielversprechend, nicht wahr?

Its that time again, winter is almost over and the skin seems to be as dry as ever even possible. During the last weeks I have tried the cowshed scrub for you. Lemongrass, Rosemary, ginger and apricot kernels. Sounds awesome right ?!

BEING A LITTLE DIFFERENT IS OKAY AT TIMES RIGHT?

Es ist wieder soweit. Ein neues Outfit hat den Weg in meinen Kleiderschrank gefunden und ich muss sagen ich hatte zunächst ein bisschen Angst wie es an mir aussehen würde da ich ja nicht gerade 2 Meter groß bin. #shortgirlproblems Dennoch finde ich es eigentlich ziemlich cool und ist auch tatsächlich von einem „Zwerg“ tragbar. Was genau ich damit meine seht ihr in den folgenden Bildern.

LOW CARB VALENTINES PIZZA LOVE

Valentinstag. Die einen lieben es die anderen eher nicht so. Ob Frustessen oder gemeinsames Liebesessen, was gibt es besseres als Pizza ?! Genau, gar nichts! Und vor allem, wenn diese auch noch ‚gesund’ ist beziehungsweise low carb! Die Basis ist so einfach, dass es schon fast unverschämt ist, und lecker natürlich auch. Belegen kann man sie dann wie man möchte und easy peasy hat man ein perfektes Date, ob mit dem Lover oder der Katze, denn die liebt die Zutaten sowieso!

Valentines Day. You either love it or hate it. It doesnt matter if you’re going on a lovely date or just eat junk at home! What else would be better than pizza? Exactly nothing! And especially when its more or less a healthy version or at least low carb! The main ingredients are so simple that its almost too simple. Topping can be anything really, and easy peasy your date is perfect. Either with your lover or cat, because she will most likely like the ingredients too!

THE PRODUCTION OF CASHMERE, REAL FUR & MY LOVE FOR ANIMALS

Heute geht es auf meinem Blog um ein eher tierisches Thema welches mir persönlich auch sehr am Herzen liegt! Wenn der Pelz an der Jacke im Laden hängt denkt man im ersten Moment wohl wie schön die Jacke ist, und nicht ob ein Tier dafür leiden musste! Viele behaupten auch, dass solche Produkte aus toten Tieren hergestellt wurden. Doch nicht immer haben die Leute Recht. Auch bei Kaschmir war ich mir persönlich nie sicher wie genau Tiere darin involviert waren. Doch heute möchte ich diesbezüglich mal ein paar Zeilen verfassen und euch darüber ein wenig aufklären wie und wo genau solche Produkte hergestellt werden.

Today I want to talk about a bit more serious topic which for me is very important and I care about a lot! When you see a jacket in the store that has a bit fur on it, then you probably think how nice this jacket looks, but not everybody thinks about if an animal had to die for it. Some people even think dead animals have been used for being produced in clothing but they are not always right. Also, I have never known about cashmere and the production of those lovely sweaters and have never known how animals are taking role in the production. But today I want to tell you a bit about it, and where and what exactly.

PLATFORM FASHION 2016 | GOODIE BAGS, PRESS ID, MEET & GREET WITH BETTY TAUBE AND REAL IMPRESSIONS AS A BLOGGER

Vom 29. bis 31. Januar 2016 stand dieses mal die 5. Auflage der Platform Fashion in Düsseldorf an. Wie der Name schon sagt ist es eine Platform die unter anderem eine Messe verschiedenster Labels, Fashion Lectures, und eine Show nach der anderen sowie Aftershowparties bietet, zudem dieses Mal  sogar mit Models von 'Germanys next Topmodel' wie Betty Taube, Vanessa, Lovelyn und Anuthida. Doch als Blogger akkreditiert zu sein heißt noch etwas mehr, denn man kann ein klein wenig hinter die Kulissen schauen und sich so einen Eindruck verschaffen, den 'normale' eingeladene Gäste so schnell nicht bekommen. 

For the fifth time, at the end of january 2016, platform fashion showed many new collections of so many designers, opened a fair, held fashion lectures and a aftershowparty! But also, this time they had well known models from 'Germanys next Topmodel' walking down the runway. Though, as a blogger you always have a different perspective to everything and we this time, got so much more than the usual visitors! 

PROMOD BOUTIQUE FRANCAISE - A LITTLE PIECE OF FRANCE IN COLOGNE

Am Donnerstag den 28. Januar ging es für mich in den Store von Promod in Köln. Ein neues Store-Design & Interior, die neue Frühlingskollektion, ein DJ und eine Gastkünstlerin sowie kleine mit Liebe gemachten Leckerein warteten darauf gesehen und vernascht zu werden! Zurecht, denn seit dem Abend hat Promod einen ganz anderen Stellenwert bei mir als vorher und kann auf jeden Fall mit meinen bisherigen Favoriten wie Zara und ähnliche Läden mithalten! -Aber überzeugt euch ruhig selbst. :)

Last thursday, january 28th, I was invited to visit the store 'promod' in Cologne for the launch of their new collection and also to celebrate the new store and interior design with the team from promod, but also a dj, a guest artist and many other bloggers. It was so worth going and the new collection is just lovely and so spring-like that i fell in love right away. And honestly, promod has never been a store to go to when I went shopping, though it is now! But you should see yourself!

COMFY MUST HAVES

Es ist ein Weilchen her, vieles ist passiert und ich bin mit bester Laune ins neue Jahr gestartet und freue mich sehr auf all die Erfahrungen und Eindrücke die mir mein Bloggerjahr 2016 bieten wird!

Doch zuerst möchte ich mit einem klassischen Outfit starten und euch zeigen was in jedem Fall in dem Schrank jeder Frau sein sollte! Denn einfach jeder wird diese früher oder später brauchen da sie einfach so simple und perfekt sind.

Its been a while, and a lot has happened but my new year has started perfectly, though a little stressful, but I am really looking forward what the year 2016 has in store for me. Though, I want to start with a classic Outfit that is a definitely Must for every girl, simply because those pieces are the most simples and perfect pieces to combine.
