Am Donnerstag den 28. Januar ging es für mich in den Store von Promod in Köln. Ein neues Store-Design & Interior, die neue Frühlingskollektion, ein DJ und eine Gastkünstlerin sowie kleine mit Liebe gemachten Leckerein warteten darauf gesehen und vernascht zu werden! Zurecht, denn seit dem Abend hat Promod einen ganz anderen Stellenwert bei mir als vorher und kann auf jeden Fall mit meinen bisherigen Favoriten wie Zara und ähnliche Läden mithalten! -Aber überzeugt euch ruhig selbst. :)
Last thursday, january 28th, I was invited to visit the store 'promod' in Cologne for the launch of their new collection and also to celebrate the new store and interior design with the team from promod, but also a dj, a guest artist and many other bloggers. It was so worth going and the new collection is just lovely and so spring-like that i fell in love right away. And honestly, promod has never been a store to go to when I went shopping, though it is now! But you should see yourself!
Nachdem wir mit einem kleinen Sekt begrüßt worden sind und ich dann auch gleich meine liebe Katharina getroffen habe wurde uns über die Kollektion und den französischen Stil (der mir persönlich sehr gefällt) erzählt, welche wir im Nachhinein auf 2 Etagen selbst begutachten konnten. Überall findet man hier und da ein bisschen blau, ein bisschen Jeans oder Streifen. Und diese 3 Dinge sind glaube ich meine absoluten Lieblinge diesen Frühling. Auch wenn es mir vorher noch nicht bewusst war (ausser das Querstreifen wohl für IMMER mein Must Have sein werden), habe ich mich direkt in die Kollektion verliebt.
After receiving a welcome-drink and having a first look I found my good friend Katharina, who was also invited to this event. We only had time to chat a little before we were fully introduced to the new collection and the french style of it. It has a lot of blue, stripes and jeans which i really adore ever since. I didnt know i would love this style so much until i realized i bought three pieces!
I mean, i knew that i love stripes as much and always will but seeing their collection with all these lovely pattern and details in stripe-, blue-, and jeans style just proved me right.
Nachdem wir zur Treppe hin an diesem Hut vorbeigelaufen sind habe ich bereits mein erstes Piece gefunden dass unbedingt mit musste! Denn ich bin schon sehr lange auf der Suche nach einem Hut mit steifen Kranz, habe bei Asos aber nur ziemlich überteuerte gefunden dass ich mir bei diesem sicher war!
After walking past this hat on the way to the stairs I already found my first favorite piece and even told Katharina to look for it. I have been looking for such a hat for a while now. I just wanted one thats a bit stiff and also not too expensive, though i couldn't find one that i liked or was able to pay for on for example asos. So when i saw this one, i knew i had to get it!
Auch die Gastkünstlerin Drahtliebe hat wirklich Liebe zum Detail gezeigt und von allen Besuchern des Abends die etwas gekauft hatten erhielt ein Glücklicher einer dieser Bügel als Geschenk und kleines Andenken an den schönen Abend.
Not just the designers of the collection but also their guest artist 'Drahtliebe' has definitely shown some love for the detail, and out of all the customers that bought something, one person even got one of the hangers as a gift! How lovely. <3
Das Buffet überraschte uns sehr als wir dann die Treppe hochliefen denn so ein liebevolles Event und so herzlich zubereitete Dinge haben weder Katharina noch ich bei anderen Events vorher gesehen. So konnte man seinen kleinen Hunger und Durst stillen und sich dabei von dem kleinen Frankreich mitten in Köln inspirieren lassen.
When they said 'food & drinks' in the invitation i, and neither katharina expected anything like this. This was heaven and so delicious. But just look at it, how amazing and how caring! We have never seen an event before where they take so much care of the details and decoration, that we were really surprised. But with this, we were definitely able to enjoy the collection even more with a few drinks and some nice food so we could get fully inspired by this little, lovey french place in the middle of cologne.
Die Ankleide war dementsprechend auch schnell sehr überfüllt da ich scheinbar nicht die einzige war der die Kollektion so gut gefiel. Dennoch habe ich mir die Zeit genommen und 3 Oberteile anprobiert und auch direkt mitgenommen. Ich habe mich zum einen für den gestreiften Pullover neben dem Hut entschieden, sowie den Hut und noch zwei weiteren Shirts (allerdings in Größen L-XL um sie im Oversized-Look zu kombinieren) mit tollem Muster welche bestimmt noch auf dem Blog folgen werden!
The dressing room got full really quick. Seems like I wasn't the only one loving their collection as much! But i did take the time to try on three sweaters/shirts in size L and XL so i can wear them a bit oversized and I did like them a lot so i of course had to take them home. One shirt I got, is shown in the picture below right next to the hat. And of course, the shirt got STRIPES. <3
Ein kleines Sneak Peek zu meinen Lieblingen von Promod findet ihr auf dem unteren Bild und auch ein superschönes Jeanshemd, was wir als Geschenk von Promod erhalten haben! Den größten Dank dafür, das ist sehr sehr aufmerksam und sehr gut getroffen! <3
Alles in allem war es ein sehr schönes Event und man hatte das Gefühl sehr herzlich empfangen worden zu sein und konnte auch das ein oder andere Wort mit den Veranstaltern des Events reden, was auch nicht immer üblich ist. Ich muss auch noch ein Mal sagen dass Promod vorher eigentlich ein Laden war an dem ich vorbeigegangen wäre um zu Zara zu gelangen, doch werde beim zukünftigen Shoppen auf jeden Fall an Promod denken.

A little sneak peek to all the pieces I got that night is shown in the last picture and thank you so much promod, for this lovely jeans-blouse that fits perfectly and i absolutely adore.
All in all, this event was really nice and you definitely didnt feel left out or not taking care of. The ladies that organized this lovely event even took the time to chat which is really rare but really lovely. And I must say that this has never been an option for me to walk in and shop, rather a store to pass by on my way to zara. But ever since that event i will definitely consider promod the next time i go shopping.
